Each voter must be registered to vote in Arlington County at least 22 days before the election is held. You may register in person or by mail.

Within 30 days after registering, you should receive a Voter ID card in the mail from the County, showing your address and your voting precinct and polling place. On Election Day, you will be allowed to vote only at the precinct in which you are registered to vote.

Keep it current
If you have changed your address or your name, you'll need to update your registration information. If you've moved outside Arlington, submit a new voter registration form to the registrar in your new city or county. If you've moved within Arlington, you should:
use the change-of-information form on the back of your voter ID card; or
ask the County Voter Registration Office for a change-of-address form; or
Then submit the information to the County Voter Registration Office in person, or by mail (County Office Bldg. #320, 2100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington 22201) or by fax (703-228-3659). Any change of address must be signed and submitted by the registration deadline.
