Absentee voting in personIf you are eligible to vote absentee (see reasons), you may cast your absentee ballot in person. This option allows you to complete the entire absentee voting process in one visit to the County Office Building, thus eliminating the risk of mail delay. It is often more convenient than voting by mail for voters who will be in Arlington at some point in the weeks preceding the election. (Alternatively, you can vote absentee by mail.) WhereIn-person absentee voting is available at one central location: the Voter Registration Office (Rm. 320) at the County Office Building, 2100 Clarendon Blvd. (near the Court House Metro station - see map).WhenThis service begins about 45 days before the November election (or 30 days before a primary), and ends the Saturday before Election Day. The office is open for absentee voting during normal business hours, with extended hours on some weekday evenings, and also the final Saturdays before the election.Absentee in-person voting schedule for 2010
