Voting in ArlingtonVoters in Arlington participate in elections for County, state and Federal offices. The terms of County Board and School Board members are staggered, with elections held every year for those offices. State offices and other County-level offices are elected in odd-numbered years; Federal offices are elected in even years. General elections are held each November. Primary elections (to nominate candidates) may be called in any year by a party committee; primaries are held in June, except that Presidential primaries are in February.
