Susan Allen to headline
fundraiser for Arlington GOP

ARLINGTON, VA - Susan Allen, wife of Sen. George Allen and former First Lady of Virginia, will be the featured guest at a fundraising reception for the Arlington County Republican Committee on September 21.

Proceeds from the event will help to support local election activities for the 2006 GOP ticket of George Allen for Senate, Tom O'Donoghue for Congress and Mike McMenamin for County Board.

"We're delighted to welcome Susan Allen back to Arlington," said County GOP Chairman Jeffrey Miller. "Mrs. Allen has been a leading voice throughout Virginia on many public-service causes, including breast cancer awareness, working with military families and young people. We greatly appreciate the tremendous support she has provided to Senator Allen and their family as well."

The reception will be held at the home of Rich and JoElla Samp, 3815 N. Ridgeview Rd., from 6:30-8:30 pm on Thursday, September 21. Tickets for the event are $50 per person (regular), $150 (Sponsor) and $300 (Patron).
