Campaign 2010

Arlington voters will be voting for Congress, County Board and School Board in 2010. The general election will be Tuesday, November 2.

We encourage you to get involved with the 2010 campaigns here in Arlington! Several things you can do today:

For Congress:
elect Patrick Murray

Ind. Green: Ron Fisher

District: The 8th Congressional District includes Arlington County, Alexandria City, Falls Church City, and parts of Fairfax County (see map). About 32% of the District's voters live in Arlington.

Nomination: Murray won a narrow victory over Matthew Berry of Arlington in the GOP primary for Congress on June 8 (see results). We appreciate Berry's energetic campaign.

Several other candidates had earlier announced for the seat, but withdrew before the filing deadline:
Chris Hubbard of Alexandria; Laurence Socci of Fairfax Co., Will Radle of Fairfax Co., Deb Madrell of Fairfax Co., Mark Ellmore of Fairfax Co., and Mike Maibach of Alexandria.

For County Board:
elect Mark Kelly
