2017 General Election

The general election is on November 7, 2017.  On the ballot will be the offices of governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, Virginia House of Delegates members (45th, 47th, 48th, and 49th Districts), one Arlington County Board member, and one Arlington County School Board member.

Arlington GOP asks you to support the following Republican candidates: Ed Gillespie for governor, Jill Vogel for lieutenant governor, John Adams for attorney general, and Adam Roosevelt for Virginia House of Delegates 49th District.  No other Republican candidates will be on the ballot in Arlington County. 

Absentee in-person voting is occurring now through November 4 at Courthouse Plaza (2100 Clarendon Blvd., Suite 320, Arlington).  You can also apply for an absentee ballot to mailed to you.  Applications must be received in the Arlington County Voter Registration and Elections Office via fax, email, or mail by 5 P.M. Tuesday, October 31.  Ballots must be received by the Voter Registration and Elections Office no later than 7 P.M. November 7 to be counted.  More information about absentee voting (including eligibility requirements, ballot application, and in-person voting hours) is on the Arlington County website here.   

Polls will be open on November 7 from 6am to 7pm. Anyone in line to cast their ballot at 7pm will be permitted to vote. You must have an acceptable form of photo identification to vote.
